Guelph, Ont. (July 16, 2008) – More than 50 youth volunteers from ridings across Canada will be in Guelph this weekend in support of candidate Gloria Kovach.
The volunteers, who arrive on July 18th, will help Kovach with campaign-related tasks, such as canvassing.
“Even though a byelection hasn’t been called yet, this group will be instrumental in helping me with key tasks on the campaign,” said Kovach. “I’m pleased to receive such strong support from the national ridings and the Conservative Party of Canada.”
This is the second time that the group has been in Guelph. They were first in the City in mid-June.
Also in Guelph this weekend is the Hon. Peter Van Loan, the government house leader, to attend a volunteer appreciation night at Kovach’s campaign office on Saturday, July 19th. The Hon. Michael Chong, MP for Wellington-Halton Hills will also attend.
