Guelph, ON (August 26, 2008) – Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs Rona Ambrose and Minister of International Cooperation Bev Oda will be in Guelph on Tuesday to attend a Roundtable on women’s issues with Federal Conservative Candidate Gloria Kovach.
Several other local female leaders will attend the caucus, to be held at Casey’s restaurant on Edinburgh Road in Guelph. Discussion will take place from 11-12, followed by lunch.
“There are so many issues that matter to women in Guelph, and we want to make sure that Ottawa hears our concerns,” said Kovach. “That’s why I’m so pleased and honoured that Ministers Rona Ambrose and Bev Oda have taken the time to attend this important roundtable on women’s issues.”
