Gloria’s children are both grown; their names are Brian and Jennifer Kovach.
Her father, Chester Janicki, is a WW2 Veteran from the Polish allied forces. His parents and several aunts and uncles died during the war, so he immigrated to Canada post war and came to Guelph.
Gloria’s mother Elvira Janicki, nee Marconi, was born and raised in Guelph. Her mother’s parents were Nazareno and Mary Marconi (nee Pavoni), who immigrated from Italy.
Gloria has one brother, Richard Janicki, who lives and works in Guelph.
